B.B. King is a still remaining legend of blues as far as both recorded and Live Music are concerned. Since 1980s. he has limited his work in the studio activity, yet he hasn’t stopped playing Live Music.
Although he is now 82 years old, he is still active and highly visible at a blues stage. The times when he played more than three hundred Live concerts are not so far away from the presence. He doesn’t give a chance to the fans of his Music to forget about him. Doubtlessly, his music is a good enough reason to keep him in your memory. His job experience was always connected with Music, but not necessarily as a band musician. He was both a Live radio singer and a DJ. Then he started playing concerts himself.
The turning point of his career was probably recording the legendary Live at the Regal album from his Chicago concert.
Unfortunately, due to his age we have to be prepared for the necessity of telling goodbye to his Music, at least the one played Live. Fortunately there are almost forty albums in his outstanding discography, so we have a variety of sources to enjoy his Music. Many of them are Live Music albums, because this artist always enjoyed playing concerts. His farewell tour was held in 2006 – it was the last chance to hear his Live Music. He played in London and other English cities, as well as places all over the world.
