Gary Moore is one of the most popular Irish musicians. His Live Music is a compilation of blues and rock also in its hard version. It’s been almost thirty eight years for us to have an opportunity of listening to his Live Music. His last concert was in London (at Shepherds Bush Empire) and gathered a large group of his fans. They all claim that listening to his Music, played Live, is an exceptional experience which is simply a must for every blues and rock fan.
He is known for his successful work with bands and stars as popular as Thin Lizzy or Colosseum II but also from his solo career. There is a number of DVDs with his Live concerts with the stars mentioned above. One of the examples is Gary Moore and The Midnight Blues – Live at Montreux1990.
During his whole career he had both episodes connected with playing rock and blues – he was a master in both kinds of Music. Even though we can’t call him a fully appreciated artist he still has a group of fans all over Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Maybe his Music would be even more popular than it actually is but unfortunately he is not so willing to play Live Music all over the Europe any more. Maybe if he would pay more attention and effort we would find his Live Music more present in mass media? Of course is not to late for it as Moore is still an active musician.
