John Lennon

John Lennon is mostly known of being a member of The Beatles – legendary band which influenced the history of Live Music. But it’s not the only part of his career which is worth mentioning. He was also a great solo artist and gave many Live Music concerts after quitting The Beatles career. His impact on Music fans can’t be overestimated. Memorials connected with the 25th anniversary of his tragic death were held in a variety of cities all over the world (London and New York among them)
In my opinion we should not think about him as an artist connected only with Music. Not everyone knows that he wasn’t only giving Live performances as a band member, but was also connected with politics and literature. He left not only albums (including Live ones) but also pieces of literature. Some of them were devoted to his beloved wife Yoko Ono. There are also two interesting documentaries about this extraordinary artist; which are the best proofs of the fact that he wasn’t able to Live without the Music, but it was not the only important thing for him.
For instance, the politics. He was extremely interested in it and he also used his Music to express his political points of view. His Live Music was not only created to entertain people but also to make them think. Although most of the people remember the craze connected with The Beatles’ Live Music performances most vividly, we have to remember that Lennon’s phenomenon is something far more that that.
