Paul Simon is thought to be one of the most influential artists as far as Live Music is concerned. He is a talented singer, songwriter and vocalist but also a record producer. Both his Live Music played during the concerts and his albums (including Live ones) gained him a huge popularity throughout the decades.
He started his adventure with playing Music as a teenager. He was playing Live during small local concerts with his friend Art Garfunkel. It was more a teenaged entertainment than real career though – they were mainly presenting their Music Live during school dances. But it was Garfunkel, with whom Paul Simon gained popularity. They sent their Music to producers hoping to succeed. And they actually did. The period of playing in famous duo called Simon and Garfunkel was a very rewarding part of his musical career.
After they split, Simon didn’t stop to be a musician. He was always interested in world Music, and now he had an opportunity to experiment with it. His first solo Jamaican-inspired album made a success, and it was followed by other productions. He was also giving a lot of concerts all over the Europe and America (i.e. in London).
Simon is also known for playing Live Music to help a variety of organizations. For example, he participated in a concert of the famine relief fundraisers. His Live Music also supports an organization aiding musical education among poor children.
