Paul Weller is already a legend of British Live Music. He gave numerous concerts with two popular bands – The Jam and The Style Council and then he started his solo career. We still have a chance to listen to his Live Music as well as to his albums.
Weller is a very creative artist. His Music reflects many influences of different kinds: from soul to rock (also alternative) but at the same time it’s rooted in English culture. Weller is very attached to his country and British people have the biggest opportunity to see him Live. He is more a national artist although I would call his popularity international. Unfortunately, his fans away from Great Britain don’t have many possibilities to listen to him during Live concerts but they have a variety of his albums – recorded either with The Jam, The Style Council or solo. Luckily, there are already six Live albums containing his Music, so we have at least that.
And who would have thought that a musician playing in working men’s clubs was about to make such a brilliant career? But that was the way his beginnings looked like. He has been playing in pubs in London and Surrey with The Jam before they started a real career. Their Music was welcomed so warmly that they could afford to release their singles and albums.
It turned out that Live Music can be a really good start for a musician and gives many career opportunities.
Nowadays he lives in England, playing Live Music on guitar (also bass guitar), piano, and cello. He is not only a singer but also a songwriter.
